Back to work!

Back to London and back to work! Sorry about the lack of blogging when i was away - had so many friends to visit and photos to take! So anyway, i went home to Orkney for a week to visit my friends and family. Here a few photos for you - the top one is a lovely view of a misty sunset over Hoy (taken from Orphir), the middle is the village on Stronsay - where i grew up, and the bottom picture is of the cliffs at Birsay. I have to say, im glad to get back to the weather in London, was really cold in Orkney! Lots of lovely new things to share with you - excited to show you all our new stock! Gayle is away on her holiday now, will see if i can get her to share some snaps when she gets back!

Outfit of the week

Ive gone for looks for teeny tiny babies this week! For girls, i had to choose one of our new vintage inspired grows. Cute frill detail on the shoulder, and beautiful colours. This little knitted hat matches the blue in the print of the suit perfectly. And a lovely knitted mouse toy and oops bib too! The grow is available in 0-3, 3-6 and 6-12 months and we have hats in lots of different colours and sizes. For boys, i thought these little Olive and Moss trousers (part of new born set) looked so cute with a 'It started with a kiss' babygrow. This is my absolute favourite thing that Gayle makes! Matched it with one of our hats too, and a little moon light. This outfit could also work for girls, as the little tousers come in a lovely peach colour too! Rock 'n' Roll Bride

Oooh look at us! One of our products has been featured on 'Rock 'n' Roll Bride's blog, in the 'Retro Rockabilly List'! How cute would a little page boy be wearing our Tuxedo T shirt at a wedding? Bunting

Earlier this week we had an order for some of my personalised bunting, and here it is! I hope little Lois and her parents like it as much as i do!

Looks like we got a new delivery from Hetty and Dave during the week too... Lots of lovely keyrings - mummy, mother, mumsy and mum! We still have some cute brooches in stock as well. All of them are handcrafted in England and make lovely presents...one of these would be especially nice for a mum-to-be! New in for winter!

These grows arrived during the week from Oh Baby London. Available in 0-3, 3-6 and 6-12 months - but we only have 2 in each size so hurry up if you want one! Gayle thinks they are the sort of thing you either love or hate (like marmite!) and i certainly love them! I have a fondness for vintage ornaments and figurines (i tend to feel sorry for them and want to rescue them - my flat looks like a car boot sale!) and the prints on these grows have the same sort of feel to them. I cant decide which i like best though?! They have lovely frill detail on the shoulders, fasten up the front and are made of lovely thick jersey, which makes them super cosy!
