High excitement here in Carry Me Home today, as we await tomorrow's Wimbledon Men's Final.

 It has been 74 years since a British man has won Wimbledon, and in that time a lot has happened! We've had 17 prime ministers, won a world cup, and...

Carry Me Home was born!

So, to celebrate Andy Murray's momentous achievement of getting thus far (I hasten to add, he hasn't won it yet!), we thought we'd show you a few baby essentials for a day at Wimbledon (or in front of the telly!). 

And especially for any little lady or little man thinking of playing in years to come, these are for you :)

 

  

Firstly, all good tennis players need good footwear, and you can't really go wrong with a pair of Mary Jane or Trainer socks. There are two pairs in each gift box, so you can change mid-way through . And you could always use the box to keep your shiny gold medals in :)

Of course, you can't go to Wimbledon without having some strawberries and cream. Make sure you protect your tennis whites with a lovely big red Strawberry bib.  

 

One Wimbledon stipulation is the wearing of white, and we've got a few suggestions for that all important outfit...

how about a lovely Angel baby grow, complete with beautiful golden wings on the back? Line decisions are sure to go your way :)

Or, a nice Medal T-shirt, which shows you're confident of winning.

Whatever you wear, and whoever you're supporting we hope you have a fabulous day, and you never know, some history may be made!

P.s. if you have no interest in tennis, all of these outfits are perfect in a non-tennis context too! x

baby, it's cold outside

I don't know about you, but we've been feeling a definite chill in the air here in Kingly Court. The clocks went back, long nights are drawing in and we've had to pop the heating on!

In the shop we've been selling a lot of winter warmers. We've got some lovely jumpers and cardigans for little men and little ladies that have been incredibly popular. The cherries cardigan has been such a hit that I just had to get one for myself as well! We're going to start putting some of these items on the website but I thought I'd give you a sneak peek first...

There are lots of cute hats as well. For those of you already feeling festive the christmas pudding hats are back again for another year. There are some gorgeous chunky knit hats from Rockafella, as modelled by Thomas the bear in the top image. My favourite have to be the little bear hats though, how cute are those tiny ears!

Dimples

We had a delivery of these super cute dimples socks today, one of our best sellers! They come separately on a card - perfect as a little treat or as an extra with another present, or they come as 2 or 3 pairs in a lovely hard wearing box. We have pink, red or black Mary Janes for girls, and blue or brown trainers for little boys. Available online or in our Carnaby Street shop.

Gayle took this beautiful, and rather artistic photo on her way home one night last week. Everyone on Carnaby street must have been drenched! At least they had Kingly Court to shelter in!!

What happened to summer?! Thankfully the weekend has been quite nice and sunny, in London anyway. Lets hope the good weather continues, no more of this rain please, its July, Summer cant be over already!

Bit of Whimsy

Here are a few of our latest arrivals - we had a delivery of Whimsy dolls during the week. Each doll is handmade and unique. This is just a small secection of my favourites. I love Callista Mae's cute hair style, and Hailey Mae's little lemony dress is so cute! Quinby the fox is one of my absoloute favourites (love his green and white patterned arms and tail!) and Keira the bunny is just adorable! Look at her little face! As well as being completely unique, each doll is individually named and numbered. We have loads of lovely whimsy dolls waiting to be carried home in the shop, but they wont stick around for long! Little rabbit night light friend

We got a delivery of these lovely night lights a few weeks ago, but they were so popular they sold out straight away! Not to worry, they are back in stock now and also available on our website. Makes the perfect night light for little ones. 15 cm tall, comes with batteries and a very cute face, how can you resist?

New T shirts - Dinosaurs and Space Creatures!

Here's just a few of the super cool T shirts we have in at the moment. 'Spacies' is my personal favourite, so retro! Also love the bright green T - 'You are all Dinosaurs' - wouldn't mind one of these for myself! And the Dinosaur print carries on to the back of the T too. Heat Wave!

We've got some lovely summery clothes in stock at the moment, perfect for the hot weather we've been having here in London recently! Heres a small selection... we have these little pants for boys and girls.... cars or wales for boys and ruffles and polkadots for girls (see a few posts down for pics of the girls pants)! We havnt had this amazing hawian shirt in for long but its already nearly sold out! Perfect for the weather, and really funny too! And we have some lovely new dresses in too - this is my current favourite! Hope your all enjoying the sun (and remembering your factor 50!) x

Been Inside for 9 months... now back in stock!

After a long wait, the 'Been Inside for 9 months' baby grows are finally back in stock! Available in black and white (as shown) and also in pink and blue, they come in sizes 0-3 months or 3-6 months. The version we have at the moment is a lighter weight jersey, with short sleeves and legs - perfect for summer! One of our best sellers, they wont be in stock long - so check the website quick!

New in for girls!

We have so many lovely new things in the shop at the moment, thought id start by showing you all the beautiful things for girls. Lots of lovely bright coloured cotton, nice and cool for summer! We've got some extra colourful dresses from Steven and Minimod in stock - in sizes 3-6 months right up to 2-3 years, and also a gorgeous frilly dress by Oobi, with a super cute love heart print. Also from Oobi are some lovely little red polka dot sun hats, with cute contrasting buttons, and my personal favourite, these amazing little pants! Plenty of space to wear over a nappy, these look so cute with a little summer dress or t shirt, and also great for wearing at the beach or in the garden with one of the lovely matching sun hats! Lovely Spring dresses

Here's just a couple of the beautiful dresses we received in the post from Steven this morning... we are now well stocked up in 6-12 months, 1-2 years and 2-3 year dresses! These 2 are my favourites, I couldn't decide between the two! Love the crayons one, wouldn't mind a dress like that myself! And the dress at the top would be perfect for a picnic! These dresses, and lots of other lovely ones are available in our Kingly Court shop, just of Carnaby street, and we also have a selection of dresses on our website.

Little ray of sunshine...

We've had loads of deliveries this week - but this is the one i couldn't wait to share with you! This lovely little short sleeved and short legged baby grow is available in 0-3 months, 3-6 months and 6-12 months and is absolutely perfect for the lovely spring days we've been having recently! Perfect for a stroll in the park or a day on the beach, or even just for being pushed around town in your pram! We've got some gorgeous summery clothes new in the shop - lots of beautiful dresses. The fabrics are lovely, we've got everything from fruit to birds, polka dots and stripes, florals, buttons, cupcakes and even cowboy boots! The dresses look as cute layered over our peter pan grows as they do on their own! We also have some lovely outfits for boys from Dandy Dodo - this little shirt and shorts set is new in and is perfect for the warmer weather we are having at the moment - lets hope it stays that way! Custest Mothers day present ever!

The perfect gift for any new mum on Mothers day! Gayle's made these super cute 'I love my mum' bibs especially for tomorrow - we have them in the shop and they will also be at our stall in Spital fields market tomorrow. Of course they come in blue too! I'm sure they would be appreciated even more if mums were woken up with breakfast in bed and flowers! Our Boo Boo products make lovely gifts all year round, but would be perfect if your out of ideas for tomorrow.
